D Pharma or Diploma in Pharmacy is a diploma program that aims to provide the basic knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences. You will learn about basic pharmacy, dispensing medicine, drug interactions and more.D Pharma can act as a gateway to the pharmaceutical industry. Thriugh the syllabus, you will gain the fundamental knowledge and skills required to explore entry-level roles like a pharmacist.

D. Pharma is a two-year diploma course concentrated on the study of pharmaceutical sciences. Its structure is such that by the end of it, its graduates can work as pharmacists or in any other form in the pharmaceutical industry. The D. Pharma hence appears as an excellent option for those studying health sciences and wanting to start working soon enough.

ELIGIBILITY

You must have cleared class 12 in the science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics) including English as compulsory subjects having 40% marks from a recognised board.

You must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in class 12.

Candidates belonging to reserved categories are given relaxation in marks.

You must be a minimum of 17 years of age at the time of admission.


DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED

• 1. 10th and 12th original certificates with 2 set of Photostat copies.

• 2. Certificates of Higher Education if any.

• 3. State Domicile / Nationality Certificate.

• 4. Caste Certificate should be submitted in case of SC/ST candidates.

• 5. Transfer Certificate & migration certificate (for candidates who have completed their qualifying examination under university outside Jammu University).
